Dr. Veeranna Mathikatti
Dr. Veeranna Mathikatti, born on November 1, 1948, in Yavagal, Ron Taluk, hails from a respected agricultural family known for its generosity. He completed his B.Sc., LL.B., and M.A. degrees from Karnataka University and was later awarded a Doctorate by Rani Chennamma University, Belagavi, for his significant contributions to social service. Throughout his career, Dr. Mathikatti has held various esteemed positions, including Chairman of the Karnataka Legislative Council and President of SBRDT. His vision to uplift the underprivileged and promote education has been the cornerstone of the trust's initiatives.
Dr. Sharanappa M. Kotagi (Mathikatti)
Serving as the Secretary of SBRDT, Dr. Sharanappa M. Kotagi (Mathikatti) has been instrumental in the trust's development. Born on July 22, 1965, in Ron, he pursued his primary and secondary education locally and has been deeply involved in social service from a young age. Inspired by his elder brother, Dr. Veeranna Mathikatti, he co-founded the trust and has played a pivotal role in establishing various educational institutions under its banner. His international exposure, including visits to countries like Israel, China, and Sri Lanka, has enriched his perspective on rural development and education.
